Elvin Lai
Born and raised in San Diego, Elvin Lai is the co-owner of MSG Hospitality, a boutique marketing firm in San Diego focused on elevating local brands and businesses. He is a fourth-generation hotelier and owner of Ocean Park Inn in Pacific Beach. A longtime leader in the hospitality industry, he has chaired major organizations including the San Diego Convention Center Corporation and California Hotel and Lodging Association, and currently serves on multiple boards such as Sharp Healthcare, the San Diego Tourism Marketing District, and The San Diego Foundation. Elvin co-founded the PB Clean and Safe program, has received mayoral proclamations establishing several “Elvin Lai Day” honors, and continues to advocate for community growth in Pacific Beach. He holds a BS degree from the University of San Diego, MS degree from San Diego State University, and a MBA from UC San Diego Rady School of Business.

Ethan Yang
Ethan Yang is the Owner and Executive Chef of Glass Box, a standout Asian coastal-inspired kitchen and bar in a unique glass-encased setting, located in the Sky Deck at Del Mar Highlands Town Center in San Diego. Beyond the kitchen, he is also the co-owner of MSG Hospitality, a boutique marketing firm based in San Diego, where he leverages his industry expertise to support and promote local businesses. A third-generation chef, Ethan's culinary journey began at his family's restaurant, Mr. Charlie Fortune Cookie, in Rancho Bernardo. Before opening Glass Box, Ethan spent time honing his craft at Pechanga Resort Casino. During that period, he realized that he was ready to take the next step and create something of his own. Cooking has always been in his blood - his grandparents and father were chefs, and he grew up learning from them while also gaining valuable hands-on experience working at Pechanga and other restaurants.
